Named after a song on Bob Dylan's Blonde on Blonde LP, obviously 5 believers were a four-piece band formed in 2003.

A typical o5b setlist contained rock, americana & blues covers from the 60s & 70s, plus original songs from the band's own self-titled CD.

The band mostly played around the London and Surrey area and last played together in 2012.

Favourite venues were the Oval Tavern in Croydon, the New Town in Sutton, the Grove Tavern in South Wimbledon, and the Boom Boom Club in Sutton.

Peter plays a Fender Telecaster though a Laney valve amplifier, and uses a Shure SM58 microphone.



Mark plays a Lugwig kit with various cymbals.

He uses Vic Firth and Promark hot rod sticks.



Michael plays a Fender Mustang bass and NS-Design CR5M electric upright bass plugged into a Markbass LMII amplifier.



Nick plays a Tom Anderson T guitar with a Marshall TSL601 combo, and a Martin OM-28 with a Roland AC90 amplifer.
